North America. Job Description Position Purpose: XXX Student
Exploration and Experience Development (SEED) is a 12-week
internship opportunity at Veolia for students to gain hands-on
experience in sustainability and ecological transformation. They
will work on real-world projects, receive mentorship from industry
professionals, and participate in workshops and networking events.
The program aims to nurture talent, promote innovation, and foster
meaningful connections between students and industry professionals.
Overall, the SEED program provides students with the skills,
knowledge, and connections needed to make a positive impact in the
industry. The Talent Acquisition Intern will participate in the
early careers recruitment for Veolia North America, and will work
in a collaborative manner to proactively and creatively source and
identify qualified candidates to develop pools of talent for
student programs. Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Manage &
maintain the full cycle recruitment process for student programs.
Use the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other tools to
facilitate the job posting, confirm requirements are appropriate
for the approved job description, and activate the posting.
Attracts and engages top talent to career opportunities by
providing information related to compensation, benefits, policies
and procedures, to ensure the candidate experience is positive and
informative. Provides regular updates on process steps, candidate
pipeline and market intelligence to the Hiring Managers, HRBPs and
broader Talent Acquisition Team for awareness. Comply with Talent
Acquisition compliance and performance goals e.g. time to fill,
time to offer, req. aging, interview to hire ratio etc. set by the
organization, and draws conclusions from analyses. Makes oral and
written recommendations to management. Internships are focused on
learning and exposure to fundamental business processes and
procedures. Candidates may support any of the Veolia North America
business functions. Work Environment: Environments vary by
intership function from office to field to plant. Our aim is to
provide tangible industry job experience to each intern. While we
may extend offers to some interns, there is no guarantee of a job
offer at the end of the internship. Qualifications
Education/Experience/Background: Working towards a four year degree
and you have Junior status in Human Resources, Business
Administration or a related major. 3.2 Cumulative G.P.A required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong communication skills, including
written, verbal, listening, presentation and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships.
