You will play a crucial role in diagnosing and preventing diseases by conducting medical laboratory tests, assays, and procedures. This position is essential in providing the high-quality care that Memorial Hermann stands for, using state-of-the-art laboratory technology to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. Perform complex tests on patient samples using modern laboratory equipment to aid in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Ensure accuracy and reliability of tests through regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss patient history and laboratory results. Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in the laboratory to comply with health regulations. Assist in the collection and documentation of test data conforming to strict protocols. Proficiency in using laboratory information systems (LIS) Strong analytical and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with high attention to precision in testing processes Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the ASCP or equivalent Valid state license as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Technologist
