Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab

Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00-17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year
of cardiac cath lab interventional experience License: Current ACLS
and BLS RN (for circulator RN role) or RT(R) or RCIS certification
for cath lab tech Certifications: ACLS, BLS, RT(R) or RCIS
Must-Have: Current cardiac cath lab interventional experience
Description: The cardiac cath lab consists of 12 recovery beds and
3 procedure rooms. The staff comprises 23 members, including day
shift recovery RNs, a cath coordinator, a CNC RN, a manager, a
director, and a daily mixture of 9-10 procedure staff, including
RNs and RCIS/Rad Techs. Night shift staffing is not applicable for
this request. Patient ratios are not applicable for this request.
The unit utilizes Philips and GE fluoroscopy, as well as Abbott and
Cardo EP equipment. The electronic medical record systems in use
are Merge Hemo and MediTech. Typical procedures performed include
various types of angiography, PCI, thrombectomy, atherectomy,
lithotripsy, and more. Electrophysiology procedures such as PVI,
SVT, flutter, EP study, and AICD placement are also conducted. The
ideal candidate should possess an outgoing personality and a
positive attitude. Candidates must have the required certifications
listed above. The position involves approximately 12-14 days of
on-call duty every 6 weeks, including 2 weekends of call. Holiday
call may be mandatory if it coincides with the contract. The
schedule follows M-F with rotating days off.
