Job Description Review specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the product. Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions, and examining functionality. Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to user requirements and within established guidelines. Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database. Training the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence Proposing improvements to the production process. Monitoring the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and discard any that do not meet requirements. Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training When a product does not perform within specifications, reports defects while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Experience : Minimum 2 years of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment. Forklift experience desirable. Education : bachelor’s degree in science Communication : Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal communication. Technology : Strong working knowledge of MS Office and other support software. Ability to read a Micrometer and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work - This is a full-time position. Rotating shifts, overtime, and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel - This position might require occasional travel. Work Environment - The position operates in a professional office environment using standard office equipment such as computers, iPads, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
