Specialist in Electrification Global Markets in US, you will be
responsible for developing and maintaining productive working
relationships with assigned channel partners, at all levels of
their organization. Primary location will be Austin, TX with
secondary being San Antonio, TX. Your strong technical and market
knowledge will assist you in providing customers with efficient and
effective solutions.This position reports toSales ManagerYour
responsibilitiesAs the Customer Support Specialist, you will
support sales team and Area Sales Manager plan and implement sales
strategies to maximize market share and margin with channel
partnersCreate and manage SPAs for strategic partners and end
usersDevelop trust with customers to be the first escalation point
when they need assistance.Generate cross-selling leads and make it
easier to do business with ABBIdentify and track upcoming sales
opportunities and influence customer specifications to favor
ABBAssist in developing cost effective and creative proposals based
on drawings and specifications.Provide market feedback, competitive
intelligence and hit-rate information to business and sales
leadershipTrack sales leads, wins and losses; perform analysis on
hit-rate dataCreate customer marketing programs New Product
Introduction (NPI) launch, training to promote ABB products and
servicesIdentify new customers and create customer profiles to
understand ABB's positionYour backgroundHigh school diploma / GED
AND 4 years of similar industry experience.ORAssociates Degree AND
2 years of similar industry experience.Bachelor's Degree in
Engineering/Industrial Distribution, Business or
MarketingDemonstrated knowledge of electrical industry and ABB
productsStrong interpersonal and leadership skills.Experience
working with contractors & channel partners is preferred.Strong
technical application, take-off, and proposal development
skills.Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond
quickly to customer needs.Strong coordination and influencing
skills.Knowledge of customer financial drivers / needs.Ability to
utilize analytical software and sales tools.Ability and willingness
to possess and maintain a valid driver's license.Strong oral,
written communication skills and presentation skills.Candidates
must already have a work authorization that would permit them to
