HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland - Texas City, TX CT Technologist HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland has been an integral part of Galveston County for more than 60 years. We offer 223 beds and services in emergency medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, physical therapy, radiology, total joint replacements, hyperbaric medicine diagnostic/imaging services and wound care facilities. HCA Houston Healthcare Mainland is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center. What you will do in this role:\tMaintains departmental compliance logs.\tParticipates in performance improvement processes.\tObtains quality diagnostic images according to protocol\tExam orders: ensures all orders have the required 5 elements\tPACS: Scans in and labels documents appropriately, resolve QA issues in a timely manner, ensure images are released to radiologists in a timely manner.\tRIS: ensures orders are valid and entered appropriately, ensures ordering physician is correct, completes exams with accurate information, documents pertinent information.\tParticipates in departmental accreditation processes and QA.\tTransports patients as necessary.\tFollows all radiation protection and dose reporting policies and processes.\tEnsures venipuncture is performed following all infection control processes and medication is administered to appropriate patientsWhat qualifications you will need:\tGraduate of an accredited school in Radiography required. \tARRT (CT); Texas Medical Board licensure required. \tAmerican Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS\t1+ years CT experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred HCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune's list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the fortune 500 list.
