you define, implement, and operate Intuit's deal desk structure
through a mix of vision, planning, and execution. This is a "first
on the field" individual contributor role with the potential to
build a team over time. The ideal candidate is familiar with
business development and contract-based sales, has a proven history
of partnering across multiple functions to achieve shared goals,
and has an ability to design and implement repeatable processes
that improve speed and quality. This role will: Develop a new deal
desk that accelerates velocity through a standard deal review
processes including finance, legal, and product. Lead the
development of the approval review process for new contractual
structures. Manage critical deals through the internal review
process. What you'll bringExperience that will enable you to
envision and build a deal desk from the ground up. Commercial
acumen that will enable you to be a thought partner with the sales
teams to make the best deals happen effectively and efficiently.
Strong program/project management skills. Ability to work create
clarity, drive alignment, and accelerate progress in a matrixed
environment. Ability to use process, tools, data & analytics to
simplify processes and accelerate decisions. Process orientation
and attention to detail. Strong influence, communication and change
management skills. Highly motivated to take ownership and drive
cross-functional initiatives with minimal direction. How you will
lead: Build Intuit's first deal desk. Provide thought leadership on
deal desk operational excellence, define and implement processes
that improve efficiency & effectiveness. Outline and manage deal
approval roles & responsibilities, routing & workflow, SLA
expectations and exception reporting, and communications. Develop
repeatable processes and identify improvement opportunities.
Facilitate the approval of key deals. Drive insights and analytics
that help identify and propagate best practices. Create strong
teaming relationships across all parties involved in deal reviews.
Provide coaching and guidance on key deal components including
legal, finance, technology, and product. Provide reporting, data,
and analytics to sales teams through Salesforce reporting and
partnering with analytics teams.
