years. We offer 223 beds and services in emergency medicine,
obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, physical therapy, radiology,
total joint replacements, hyperbaric medicine diagnostic/imaging
services and wound care facilities.

is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA
Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive
network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers
and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus
Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine
ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a
regional transfer center.
What you will do in this
• Responsible and accountable for
directing and facilitating the flow of patient care activities of a
unit on an assigned shift. Supports and assists with the development and actualization of
the unit(s)' goals (strategic
• Coordinates and directs the unit(s)' patient care operations for
an assigned shift.
• Manages personnel effectively, and analyzes workload and skill
requirements to meet patients' needs for an assigned
• Practices and promotes cost containment for unit(s) and
• Practices and promotes patient/family advocacy and assists with
the maintenance of ethical
• Participates in and promotes quality improvement at the unit
• Demonstrates a high level of productivity and

What qualifications you will need:
• Licensed as an RN in the State of Texas.
• 1 year of acute care experience is required.
• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic
Life Support ( BLS or BCLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS or ACLS)
Course and Certification is required.
