Quality Assurance Administrative Assistant

Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance
Administrative Assistant to join our Ashland LLC (ISP Technologies,
Inc.) business at our Texas City, Texas plant. This is a very
visible, significant role within the Company and the quality
assurance function. This position will report to Quality Assurance
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not
limited to, the following:
- Redirect queries as needed to responsible parties.
- Work with technical staff as needed to fulfill customer's
- Lead and facilitate special projects in a timely manner by
researching, compiling data and/or serving as facilitator for
various QA projects as they arise.
- Scan documents into the archive system.
- Assist with TXC QA iPortal/SharePoint page.
- Order laboratory supplies and keep adequate inventory
- Assist as needed with arrangements for customer visits and
audits (reserve room, order lunches, etc.).
- Book travel arrangements for department personnel.
- Enter work orders for QA department.
- Conduct and follow through on general office duties to assist
Quality department staff.
- Compile data for metrics and reporting metrics.

capable of evacuating the manufacturing process areas in a timely
manner should an emergency situation arise. The candidate must also
be able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal
protective equipment if required to work or visit within the
manufacturing process area. This may include hard hat, safety
glasses, respirators, ear plugs, steel-toed shoes, or other
equipment as required by the work performed and location the work
is being performed. Other physical activities may include walking,
climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 25
lbs., or reaching depending on the work activity required. Work is
performed in an office/plant environment. Training required to
perform the job properly may require this position to travel within
Texas and around the United States of America.
