• This position involves the interpretation of complex blueprints; designing tooling setup; and the capability to program and operate specialized lathes for proto-type, one-off custom engineered thread accessory parts for the oil and gas industry.
• It involves developing and implementing operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality
• Review of production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating issues
• Plan and direct production activities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors
• Coordinate production activities with maintenance and quality control to obtain optimum production and utilization of equipment. Requirements:
  • High school degree or GED
  • The position requires 8 to 12 hour shift work, which will include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays
  • The position requires overtime work as needed
  • Capability of interpreting complex blueprints, designing tooling setup and programming CNC Lathes for proto-type, one-off custom engineered thread accessory parts including programming changes and edits
  • Capability of evaluating complex parts and setting up equipment to safely hold parts for machining
  • Capability of machining parts within tolerance on the first part
  • Capability of setting up gauges and measurement of complex accessories
  • Capability of measuring physical elements and making necessary adjustments to programs
