Hogan1 is looking for a skilled CDL A Truck Driver to join our elite team of logistics professionals in revolutionizing transportation and shipping. Operate a tractor-trailer or similar large vehicle to transport goods to various destinations across the country. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods, etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions, collect and verify delivery instructions from dispatch. Report defects, accidents, or violations and maintain a clean driving record. Handle documentation and log work/rest periods, kilometers spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as with company policies and procedures. Proven work experience as a truck driver with a deep understanding of truck maintenance and repair. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. No recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.).
