Traveler is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 13-week day
shift contract in Texas, requiring an active TX or compact RN
license and at least one year of recent experience.
Responsibilities - Work in a hospital setting on the 5th Floor
Heart Tower Medical Unit - Patient population includes general
medical-surgical cases - 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract assignment - No local candidates accepted due to
a 50-mile radius requirement - Provide care for adult
medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital unit -
References must be from a clinical supervisor or manager - Scrub or
dress code requirements not specified - Candidates must reside
outside a 50-mile radius from the facility Requirements - Active TX
or compact RN license required - Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg
nursing experience - American Heart Association or American Red
Cross BLS certification required, valid through the first month of
assignment - US Social Security Number and date of birth required
for consideration - No gaps in work history of 90 days or more
within the past 12 months - At least one professional reference
