Job Description:
Memorial Hermann, a leader in Texas healthcare, is seeking an
experienced and certified CVOR Surgical Technologist to join our
dedicated team for evening shifts. This role is crucial for
maintaining the highest standards of patient care and surgical
excellence in our cardiovascular operating rooms. As part of our
team, you will work in a state-of-the-art environment designed for
optimal surgical outcomes, supported by the latest technology and a
culture that prioritizes patient satisfaction and clinical
excellence. Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of
surgeons and registered nurses. Prepare operating rooms with
necessary instruments and equipment. Ensure all instruments
function properly before and during procedures. Manage surgical
equipment with precision and pass instruments to surgeons without
interruption. Maintain a sterile environment throughout surgical
procedures. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations and
compliance requirements. Provide quality patient care before and
after surgical procedures. Proficient in using and maintaining
surgical equipment. Excellent understanding of sterilization and
infection control techniques. Ability to thrive in a high-pressure,
fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
