Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: December 29, 2025 Location: Houston, Texas Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Day shift with on-call coverage; shifts begin at 6:30 AM, daily huddle at 6:45 AM; OR operates 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM with varied room coverage; weekday and weekend on-call required with 30-minute response time Highlights: 14 operating rooms including 2 cardiovascular ORs with high-volume robotics, gynecology, general surgery, ENT, colorectal, vascular, and urology procedures 1:1 patient ratios ensuring focused, quality perioperative care Collaborative environment with 8 RNs and 8 surgical technologists on the team Meditech ORM electronic medical record system in use Self-scheduling for on-call shifts (1–2 per week based on PTO requests) Scrubs provided by facility Requirements: Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience in an acute care hospital setting Varied skill set including General Surgery, ENT, Urology/Gynecology, Orthopedics, and Robotics Cardiovascular OR (CV??) experience required Current BLS certification CNOR certification preferred 5 years of experience preferred Ability to float to Preop Holding as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OR nurse looking to work in a fast-paced, dynamic surgical environment with diverse case types and cutting-edge robotics technology.
