Nurse Practitioner | Family Practice Location: Houston, TX Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Position Overview We are seeking an experienced General Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a PRN locum opportunity performing non-treatment medical disability evaluations and separation health assessments . This role is ideal for providers looking for flexible, exam-based clinical work with no prescribing, no treatment, and no call . Assignments may be conducted either at designated exam locations or within the provider’s own office , depending on regional needs. Assignment Details Assignment Type: Locum / PRN Schedule: As needed (flexible) Shift Options: Half Day (up to 4 hours) Full Day (5–8 hours) On Call / Weekends: None Patient Care Type: One-time medical evaluations only Compensation Half-Day Rate: $510 flat rate (up to 4 hours) Full-Day Rate: $1,050 flat rate (5 hours or more) Bonus: One-time $650 bonus upon completion of required training and first exam Travel: Local candidates only; travel included in rates Note: Follow-up administrative work (addendums, medical opinions, diagnostics review) is included in the flat rate and not paid separately Clinical Responsibilities Perform Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams and Separation Health Assessments Conduct interview-based evaluations with limited physical exams Perform range-of-motion and muscle strength testing as required Evaluate and document cardiovascular, respiratory, and METs-related conditions Complete documentation accurately and timely within required systems No prescribing. No treatment. No ongoing patient management.
