Med/Surg RN in Texas City, Texas, 77591! Job Opportunity –
Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: January 5,
2026 Location: Texas City, Texas Compensation: Details provided to
qualified applicants Schedule: Day or night shift; must work 4
weekend shifts per 4-week period; 6:1 patient ratio; no on-call
required Highlights: 42-bed medical/surgical unit with 40 core team
members providing comprehensive patient care Work with diverse
equipment including telemetry monitors, chest tubes, wound vacs,
BiPap, epidural PCA pumps, and IV infusion systems Participate in
procedures such as PICC line placement assistance, chest tube
management, wound care, tube feedings, and blood product
administration EMR system: Meditech Supportive team environment
with structured shift staffing including charge nurse, RNs, CNAs,
and sitters as needed Floating to PostOp unit may be required
Requirements: Current Texas RN license BLS certification (required)
2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience (preferred) ACLS
certification (preferred) Positive, outgoing personality with
