HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center Houston, TX Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-Admit HCA Houston Healthcare Medical Center is a 444-bed acute care hospital in the heart of Houston s museum district. Established in 1975, the hospital has been serving Houston for more than 40 years. It provides a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, emergency care and more. The hospital is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare, part of the HCA Healthcare Gulf Coast Division. The division is a comprehensive network of hospitals, outpatient surgery centers, emergency centers and diagnostic imaging facilities in greater Houston, Corpus Christi and South Texas. Facilities include: 17 hospitals, nine ambulatory care centers, 13 off-campus emergency centers, and a regional transfer center. What you will do in this role: Responsible for the oversight and provision of safe and effective patient care Assumes responsibility for the efficient application of the Nursing Process in the care of patients admitted to the hospital for procedures. Provides oversight and direction to ancillary support personnel in the provision of direct and indirect patient care Qualifications Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. BSN preferred. What qualifications you need: Current licensure in Texas as a Registered Nurse required.1 year of medical surgical experience required. Pre-Op expereince is preferred.American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS or BCLS) and certification is required.American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support course (ALS or ACLS) and certification is required.
