Our services include inpatient and outpatient medical, surgical and specialty services. What you will do in this role:* Responsible for direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients on the Dialysis Unit.* Responsible for meeting the Standards of Practice for the Dialysis Unit.* Participates in activities to plan, measure, assess, and improve the quality of patient care.* Communicates with Nurse Director and House Supervisor regarding patient care, staff conflicts and unusual occurrences* Ensures efficient, quality care of patients requiring dialysis.* Assures daily charges are entered on Meditech.* Assumes responsibility for charging the unit as needed.* Assumes responsibility for on-call duty as scheduled, with response time not greater than one hour* Models behaviors consistent with positive customer service.* Adheres to and complies with HCA Code of Conduct as part of Ethics and Compliance program. Attends annual training sessions.Qualifications What qualifications you will need:* At least 1 year experience required as a Staff RN in a dialysis setting.* Graduate of accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.* Educational requirements appropriate for meeting age-specific needs of the patients on the particular unit on which the RN is assigned.* Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners* Current CPR certification* American Red Cross or America Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification* American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and CertificationHCA Healthcare ranks on Fortune?s list of Most Admired Companies for three consecutive years and HCA ranks 63rd on the fortune 500 list.
