Gulf Coast Center is looking for a Chief Executive Officer About
the Position The CEO is employed by and accountable to the Board of
Trustees for the overall operation of Gulf Coast Center. The CEO is
responsible for the implementation of Board policy, program and
administrative operations and the execution of fiscal growth and
accountability. The CEO must work with clients, families, local and
State government personnel, citizens, advocacy groups, funding and
regulatory agencies, and other human service provider
organizations. The CEO is directly responsible for the supervision
of the Executive Management Team, executive support positions and
is indirectly accountable for all Center employees. This executive
management position is also responsible for planning, organizing,
and directing the overall clinical and business operations for all
direct service programs for the Gulf Coast Center; facilitates the
development and implementation of the Center's Mission, Vision and
Values; and leads the determination of key initiatives of focus for
each fiscal year.

- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
- Business Administration, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing,
Rehabilitation, Public Health, Public Administration, Healthcare
Administration, Special Education, or other healthcare/human
services degrees preferred
- Healthcare related experience, preferred
- 8 years of management experience
- 5 years of upper-level management in a community health and
intellectual/developmental disabilities center, preferably in
Texas; or a healthcare system
- Management of at least 100 staff members, preferred
- Knowledge of contracting, revenue cycle management, grants
management, human resource management, and managed care
- ------Knowledge of Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)
model; experience in implementing the CCBHC model prefer
- Current Texas Driver's License with safe and reliable
transportation
- Ability to travel out of the region in person
- Must live in Brazoria or Galveston county
- Flexibility to work in Galveston and Brazoria Counties About
