Solenis is a 2021 US Best Managed Company.For additional information about Solenis, please visit---www.solenis.com or follow us on social media. -GENERAL SCOPE:The Senior Key Account Manager will manage an assigned account with the primary responsibility to create value for the assigned customer through the technical service they provide; and identifying new product opportunities and selling to existing customer. -A Senior Key Account Manager's sole focus is to maintain revenue, price capture and to improve gross profit. A Senior Key Account Manager may work on attaining new business where appropriate, but that will not be their primary assignment or job responsibility. The position is not a people manager, but more to work with a Team to manage the customer account.KNOWLEDGE:Requires extensive knowledge in the Power Industry or extensive Pretreatment knowledge (i.e. demineralizers, Reverse Osmosis, etc.). - A wide and comprehensive acquaintance with, and understanding of, both general and specific aspects and the technical phases of the job and their practical application to complex problems and situations ordinarily encountered.JOB COMPLEXITY:Usually works with established procedures, performing a wide variety of nonstandard complex tasks using advanced techniques and requiring extensive knowledge of discipline. Analyzes requirements for special projects and recommends methods and processes to accomplish. - Supports the design/development of new or modified equipment or methods/systems for improved performance through analysis and check-out. Evaluates and resolves calibrating and troubleshooting problems. Leads and mentors others and lower level employees, may assign work and schedule work flow. - - - IMPACT:Impact of work significant to assigned area. Erroneous work product would normally result in failure to achieve schedule, and potentially affect mission success.Description:

  • This is a sales growth position where the primary activity is working with one (1) large refining/power industry customer with the potential for growth
  • Providing value added consultative program control advice to our customers
  • Review treatment programs and processes (cooling, boiler, influent, wastewater treatment) within the account ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention
  • Conduct annual business reviews with assigned customers.
  • Management of customer inventories on site including coordinating orders and deliveries
  • Maintain and build business/customer relationships at all levels from operations to corporate
  • Conduct the necessary site and LMS/class room training programs to understand the overall operations of the customer site(s)
  • Sell new business and new applications in this territory. -Develop and implement sales plans on new opportunities with the direction of the Site Manager including documenting ROI. -Establish, maintain and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC.
  • Manage profitability of the accounts assigned
