safer, more secure world. The Systems Engineering Integrated
Systems department is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer
(Modeling & Simulation). The Integrated Systems team leads all
aspects of systems engineering that drive the development of
complex systems supporting the Raytheon Land and Air Defense
Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury, MA location. The
department supports Raytheon by cultivating a world-class group of
systems thinkers who collaborate to architect technical solutions
to some of the world's toughest challenges. This is a full-time
onsite position based in Tewksbury, MA. What You Will Do -
Contribute and collaborate in a team environment receiving input
from the program or team experts and contributing your knowledge to
advance the discussions. - Communicate with cross-functional
engineering teams to coordinate design plans and requirements
analysis. - Contribute your knowledge of performance engineering
practices and procedures to evaluate work across a wide range of
intriguing subject areas. - Manage program technical risks by
evaluating requirements and design aspects. - Develop models to
validate proposed architectures and designs against requirements as
well as help shape future tech growth. - Develop and maintain
modeling tools incorporating Digital Signal Processing (DSP) with
complex time domain elements. - Analyze data to understand
performance and perform root cause analysis. - Incorporate radar
system concepts including detection, discrimination, track and
signal processing algorithms to model their behaviors and analyze
performance. - Incorporate effector system concepts to model their
behaviors and analyze performance. Qualifications You Must Have -
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant
experience. - Experience with Digital Signal Processing, including
development or application of time-domain signal models to support
system design and requirements analysis. - Experience with system
modeling, algorithm development, test vectors, or analysis tools in
support of evaluating radar requirements and performance. -
Experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and/or Fortran. - Ability to
obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is
required prior to start date. Qualifications We Prefer - Experience
with reading and understanding technical design drawings and
electrical schematics. - Experience with taking ownership of tasks
and leading technical efforts spanning multiple stakeholders, and
being able to communicate effectively with all levels of the
organization. - Experience with system requirements capture,
design, and decomposition. - Experience with radar system concepts;
detection, discrimination, track and signal - processing algorithms
and their behaviors and performance. - Ability to read and
understand technical design drawings and electrical schematics. -
Experience with data analysis and statistics with large volumes of
data. - Experience conducting analysis and studies, including how
to define and execute a study. - Experience using MATLAB for model
development. - Demonstrated technical and analytical skills to
develop credible results for presenting to the customer. What We

107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good
faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX
