This is an excellent opportunity to join a high performing team, working on digital design of the next generation of BMS chips. The designs include industry-leading low power radio transceivers, battery monitoring technology, embedded micro-controllers, and other differentiated digital and mixed signal components. The digital design team will be responsible for digital architecture planning and partitioning, collaborating with analog engineers to define mixed-signal interfaces, System Verilog and VHDL based digital design, simulation, design quality checking, design for test and test pattern generation, synthesis, floor planning, place and route, logic equivalence checking, static timing analysis, participating in chip and block level verification planning, documenting designs, and collaborating with physical validation team and applications team to support silicon evaluation and customer interactions.

Job Levels available: Engineer, Senior Engineer, Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer

Minimum Qualification: BSEE/MSEE degree and experience in chip design or physical design implementation. Job level will be commensurate with experience.

Positions Available: Digital Design Engineering, Physical Design Engineering

Desired Skill Sets:

  • Expertise and strong hands-on experience with digital circuit design using System Verilog or VHDL
  • Digital system architecting and block definition
  • Basic understanding of mixed-signal designs
  • RTL design quality analysis
  • Expertise and strong hands-on experience with physical design implementation of synthesizable RTL
  • Floor planning, power grid planning, power analysis, rail analysis
  • Experience with DFT and test pattern generation
  • Experience with defining test bench architecture at block and subsystem level
  • Experience with defining test plans, relevant checkers, and coverage metrics
  • Experience with gate level simulations and debug
  • Experience with analog modeling and AMS Verification is required for AMS DV position
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262) is a plus
  • Experience in digital verification is a plus
  • Experience with Cadence tools is a plus
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python and Perl is a plus
