Job Description Job Description Benefits: Opportunity for advancement Position Summary Montessori Haven is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Montessori Assistant Teacher to support our lead teachers in the toddler and/or primary classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and is either Montessori-experience or eager to learn the Montessori approach. Key Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in implementing the daily Montessori curriculum Maintain a calm, clean, and prepared classroom environment Supervise children and ensure their safety and well-being at all times Support children in their social, emotional, and academic development Help with classroom set-up, organization, and cleaning Assist during lunch, snack, toileting, and transitions Communicate positively and professionally with parents and staff Attend staff meetings and training as required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Experience working with young children (16 years old), preferably in a Montessori setting Passion for working with children and interest in Montessori education Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing disposition Ability to follow direction and take initiative Must pass background check and meet Texas childcare licensing requirements Job Type: Part-time Experience : Childcare: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
