The ideal candidate must be capable and well-versed in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential environments. Duties: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with national and local electrical codes. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using various testing devices. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and code specifications. Adhere to all quality and safety codes. Comply with regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time spent, materials used, and tasks completed. Stay updated on industry trends, advancements, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills. Qualifications: Must have a valid TDLR Journeyman Electrical license. Must be capable and well-versed in all aspects of commercial electrical construction. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a journeyman electrician. Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Reliable transportation.
