You'll Work With Corebridge Financial Services has been helping
Americans plan for and enjoy a secure retirement for more than half
a century. We are an industry-leading provider of financial
planning tools for community members who work in healthcare, higher
education, K-12, government, and other not-for-profit institutions.

is a paid , industry-leading training program to help you acquire
the necessary licenses to be a Financial Professional with
Corebridge Financial. As a Retirement Specialist in Training , you
will be solely focused on studying for the SIE, Series 7 & 66, as
well as the State Variable Life & Health licenses, which you are
expected to obtain within120 days of your start date. We provide
you with a comprehensive study schedule, exam sponsorships, and
study materials which consist of reading materials, videos, and
live training. Upon successful completion of the four exams, you
will become a Retirement Specialist and join our Inbound
Participant Support team. Here you will gain hands-on experience
supporting clients needing help with specific financial
transactions and build a foundational knowledge of retirement
plans, strategies, solutions, and firm systems. From here, you will
embark on the rest of your journey through multiple roles that are
strategically layered to develop your skillset towards becoming a
Financial Advisor. These roles include proactive outreach,
processing new business transactions, financial planning and
developing and maintaining client relationships. The long-term goal
of our department is preparing highly motivated and successful
candidates into financial advisor roles, where you manage a book of
business and deepen long-term client relationships. Each stage of
our training and development is intentionally designed to build the
skills, experience, and knowledge needed for sustained success as a
financial advisor. Individuals who excel as a Retirement Specialist
in Training come from different professional and educational
backgrounds. Our goal is to develop individuals who work hard, have
a drive for accomplishment, an interest in financial services, and
a desire to grow professionally. Responsibilities Obtain FINRA SIE,
Series 7 & 66 as well as State Variable Life & Health licenses
within 120 days of start date Engage 401k / 403b participants to
assist and educate them regarding current investment, insurance,
and retirement planning strategies Demonstrate ownership of client
issues by assisting with account needs and following through on
commitments Strengthen client loyalty and experience by
anticipating needs and providing excellent service Collaborate and
work successfully within a team environment Consistently identify
financial planning opportunities Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or 2 year’s relevant industry or customer service
experience Ability to obtain FINRA SIE, Series 7 & 66 as well as
State Variable Life & Health licenses within 120 days of start date
Having SIE in advance is strongly preferred but not required. We

within a team environment Work Location This position is based in
Corebridge Financials’ Houston, TX office and is subject to our
